Then Camp Canaan is ready to work with you. The Rock Hill nonprofit recently completed work on a series of zip lines that Executive Director Nick Wimmer wants to use to attract corporate customers to the island camp and retreat center on the Catawba River.

“Companies can’t fly their employees out to Vegas for team-building exercises anymore,” he says. Camp Canaan instead can offer companies a real backwoods adventure that’s just a quick ride down Interstate 77.
